Commonly used anti-histamines include cetirizine, desloratidine, fexofenadine, levocetirizine, and loratidine. Less commonly used anti-histamines include chlorpheniramine, cyproheptadine,\u00a0 dexchlorpheniramine, and promethazine. There is no need to stop inhaled steroids.<\/p><p>For patients attending for respiratory disorders it is probable that lung function testing will be needed. If safe, please do not have any Ventolin or Bricanyl within 4 hours of your appointment.
